Edge posts w/ set screw. Will they fit in an Edge III hole?

Been going through some Ibanez parts, and I have a set of the trem posts for an original Edge (with set screw!) Since they're probably higher quality metal than the stock trem posts that come with an Edge III, I would like to put these in. It would probably keep me in tune better too. Anybody know if the posts will fit without any mods?

I decided to check this myself, and I think the posts with the set screw are larger. It wouldn't work anyways, because I noticed the threading on the screws is extremely different (Edge posts with the set screw have very wide/tall threading). So, that idea is out.
