Edge pro and Edge: are they interchangable?

Are the Edge pro and Edge perfectly interchangable?

the stud spacing is different and the routing is smaller

That's bad news. I'd like to have a JS1200CA with an Edge, but now it seems I would have to try to find an old JS1000 which still had the Lo pro Edge. I'll search the internet.

I do, Mi2tom. I do want to have the same thing as Joe. I could buy a JS2PRM, but it costs $5000. Maybe some custom shop can make it so that the Edge can be put on the guitar. It would be cool.

The Edge pro does have a cool benefit, though: longer string life.



But the Edge just looks cooler. And it's the same as Joe's guitars.



The chances I'll find a 2002 JS are pretty slim, I guess. I'll just have to inform at a custom shop. I wouldn't mind spending a bit more on the customisation.

The Edge sure does looks cool, hopefully you can get what you want myst, anyway why not mod a Js1200 with an edge and sell me the edge pro

I don't think one looks better than the other; the edge pro looks really sleak and streamlined though. But, I wish that the black plastic pieces on the saddles were metal and matched to the color of the trem. It would make it look a lot better.
