edge pro trem jump

Hi all,
Recently whilst playing my Ibanez RG1570, when string bending the trem would sometimes 'jump' with a small click/knock which would make the strings ever so slightly flat. It would return to to tune if I did a slight pull up on the whammy bar, however. Could this be the knife edges?

Also, the higher frets of my guitar seem to be choking in places (more on the wound strings A and D) . My action is about 2mm at the 24th fret on the low E and a bit less on the high E side. I have tried adjusting various things but to get rid of the buzzing I had to increase the trem height a lot (which didnt feel right).
Is there any other way I can fix this? I'm considering having it setup professionally.

Thanks,
Jonny
