Edge trem with trs type posts

I recently got a Jackson SL3 and it has a JT580 lp trem on it. the edge fits in the routing but the posts don't fit. WIll it harm the body at all to use the other posts with the edge trem? Any idea how tuning stability will be?

no problems for the Edge to be used with non-Edge posts.
stability-wise, i can tell you i have an RG270 with an Edge, and it works flawlessly with non-Edge posts.
