Edge vs Edge PRO

any chance that anyone can confirm that Edge Pro sound change the sound if you had a regular edge before? I replaced my edge with edgePro, and I mean it could just be me, but I think it sounds softer... everything else is the same

Interesting. I haven't switched out an Edge for an Edge Pro but the edge guitars I've played have always been pretty snappy and responsive sounding. I always thought it was because the 80's guitars were better built. The trem might have had something to do w/ it too though. Would love to hear from others on this one.
I don't like the look or feel of the edge pro and the low-pro edge doesn't feel as good as the original either IMO.

Re: Edge vs Edge PRO

Well... I have only tried one Edge Pro conveniently (in a guitar setup by myself).
I didn't like it that much. However, it had the bad posts Rich keeps telling us about.

wizard75wizard: did you swap the trem posts?

Did you route out the body to accept the Edge?
