EVH drop D tuner on Edge trem

Hi I was just wondering if you could fit an EVH drop D tuner on Edge trem.
They work great on my original Floyd Rose trems and I would love to get one
for an Ibanez USA Custom(with an Edge trem)I will be getting soon.

Many thanks
Sean

wouldnt that upset all the other strings due to the changed string tension?

I guess youd have to block the trem for down only mode like Eddies floyds, right?

If you want it to work as intended yes. Although kramer did sell these designed to float the trem route looks AWFUL and they dont stay in tune for crap. You could maybe get it to work with a tremsetter, or better yet a tremolno with the drop c function but if you want to have full pullup range you still have to do the route.

I have a Jem777DY with a "D Tuna" on it. Blocked the trem and it works pretty good. Fits right into the lion's claw without interference when in standard tuning and pop's right up out of it in drop-d.

They are fun to play with!

By "blocking", do you guys mean blocking or filling in the "rout" area, or do you mean doing something within the trem cavity?
