i wanted to know what the DC resistance is and in which way it does affect the pickup sound...

* * * * I didn't see the connection in your post so I thought you just wanted the number. If you need 'numbers' on any DiMarzio pickup I should be able to give you those.

I'm not sure if it is the direct mounting or what, but I think the Steve's Special is a really awesome pickup. *It isn't noisy AT ALL. *Dead silent. *It is towards the evolution in power at 390 to evos 404mV but it is really much easier to control for me personally. *

I also like the PAFs. *I thought I didn't like the PAF but I was actually thinking of FRED in the bridge. *PAF in the neck sounds awesome though.
