Thanks Jeff!!... but my question was a bit different...
i wanted to know what the DC resistance is and in which way it does affect the pickup sound...

Evolution vs Fred....


I'm not sure if it is the direct mounting or what, but I think the Steve's Special is a really awesome pickup. *It isn't noisy AT ALL. *Dead silent. *It is towards the evolution in power at 390 to evos 404mV but it is really much easier to control for me personally. *

I also like the PAFs. *I thought I didn't like the PAF but I was actually thinking of FRED in the bridge. *PAF in the neck sounds awesome though.
