Floyd Rose Cavity: Lo Pro Edge same as Original Floyd rose -

Hi, I wanted to know if i can take out my original floyd rose from my jackson guitar and replace it with an ibanez lo-pro edge tremolo?

in other words, does the lo pro edge fit into the original floyd rose cavity?

if so, where can i buy a lo-pro edge for really cheap, or where can i trade my original floyd rose for a lo pro edge?

Think of the OFR cavity being the same as the TRS(II) cavity. The posts are the same width, but there might be some limitations on the routing (for pullup) or for fit near the fine tuners. Each brand guitar is different. You might want to call/email Jackson's tech support or find someone with a Edge/LoPro that you can TRY before you buy to see how it fits.

other than the feeling of the lo pro edge, the original floyd rose is the same or even better

and you cant do a straight swap i have heard
