Floyd rose nut


Does anyone know where i can find an R8 floyd rose nut? I'v looked through all my usual guitar parts sites and even had a look on the bay and came up with nothing, anyone care to point me in the right direction?

Looking on the floydrose site just now
i cant see any difference between the R8 and the R4

Care to enlighten us?

ive got a brand spanking new R4 if anyone needs it
(didnt fit my jem)

Im not suprised you havent heard of them they seem to be quite rare.
The R8 has a 15" radius whereas the R4 has a 10" radius

According to Floydrose.com..
it states the following..

Nut #8 - Neck Width 1-11/16" - 10" radius
Nut #9 - Neck Width 1-11/16" - 15" radius


Perhaps its a typo?

I e-mailed floyd rose and they told me it was an R8, this is also confirmed here http://www.floydrose.com/pdf/FR%20Ma...20List%202.pdf

Can floyd rose help you directly?

I emailed them a month or so ago when I was looking to get an OFR..
the guy wasn't too with it..couldnt answer any of my questions
and all he did was salespitch.
Got kinda frustrating

What guitar are you after it for? Maybe someone on here has one that they dont need or use or breaking for spares.

Its for a custom project, but thats an idea i hadent thought of. altohugh I'd rather not buy second hand ill keep and eye out for any necks with them thanks for the tip.
