click HERE for the short trem-block, click on 'Miscellaneous Bridges Parts' on the left, and then click the item #BP0270-001.

click HERE for the intonation tool.

let me know.

The Allparts block will not fit a Floyd Rose Pro.

I bought one for mine, and the mounting screw holes on it did not line up at all. I've since sold the bridge to a friend, who is having this same, too long of a block, problem. We called Fender, no go on a shorter block..

This week we should be pulling it back out, and he's gonna take the block to a machine shop and have it shortened. Seems the easiest fix for this.

Doesn't make any sence to me though, why have the long block standard on a low profile trem? Sometimes I just don't understand parts manufacturers..

sorry cowcowcow...

thanx for the advice Toshiro.
i think anyway that the low profile version of a Floyd type bridge has only to do with the shape of its tail, not with the thickness of the guitar on which its installed.
i mean, you should get a shorter block when you install a Floyd on a guitar that's thinner than the standard Fender or Jackson, for ex: an RG270 or a 540PII.

That's just it though, my friend's guitar is a Jackson V.

The long block was 'supposed' to be for non-routed installations, where it needed to go all the way through from the top of the guitar to the bottom. You'd think a low profile system, which 9 times out of 10 goes into a top routed guitar, would come stock with the short block..

Oh well, it just makes me kinda mad, no one should have to go through all this with a brand-new, high end, bridge.
