Floyd Rose with Edge Studs
I just purchased a Jem body from Legacy guitars and it is pretty great, however the bridge I was planning on putting in it is a Floyd Pro, I had to rout a few mm away from the side of the rout for it to fit but that wasn't a problem since the body isn't finished yet.
The problem is that the anchros for the Floyd are too narrow and just fall into the holes. I have read that the holes for the Ibanez Edge locking studs are 7/16ths which is what the holes on this body are drilled just slightly under, however the floyd anchors are about a millimeter to narrow.
If I was to buy some Ibanez anchors and studs would the Floyd pivot on them properly?
