found a cool website for parts

i'm not sure i have seen this "shop" around here yet, so i would like to share my find with everyone. this guy makes his own parts. he's the first person i have found that makes stainless steel trem bars for edge trems ($25US - which i think is worth the price considering they are usually $15 for the black ones that i tend to break fairly easily from Ibanez). i haven't seen anyone making chrome/stainless bars until now. i saw quite a few other cool things on his site as well, like clear pup rings.
if you need parts custom made, do yourself a favor and check out his site. i just bought a truss cover made from polished aluminum for my RG570 i have been dressing up and plan to add some other custom aluminum back plates from this guy (David).
he has been quick responding to my emails and i'll post when i recieve the part(s) to give a review of his work.
www.fretsonthenet.com
as much custom work as is done by the forumites here, i thought his skills could be very helpful and so far his prices seem reasonable.

i've broke a few actually.
if you do some wild trem stuff like hanging/holding the guitar (not recommended) by the trem bar while shaking it profusely - it will happen. i broke off the end of a bar flush in the trem of my Jem777VBK a little while back while roaming the bar during my extended soloing in "Road House Blues - Doors". i try to have as much fun as possible which transfers into the crowd having a lot of fun as well. it's a kind of "rock-n-roll synergy" that spirals into all kinds of craziness!
i broke the trem bar "sleeve" that the bar attatches into on the plate in HALF on my Jem7DBK while performing this manuver at a biker bar a while back. the crowd went NUTS! i guess that is to be expected from people that were drinking tequila before 3 o'clock in the afternoon on a sunday! what a great time that was! i posted that story in the Jem topic under "jem abuse" or something like that a while back.
as rough as these things sound, i have never done serious damage to my guitars. usually a small inexpensive replacement part from Rich fixes things quickly. it's the accidental damage that seems to be the worst kind as opposed to the "controlled craziness".
