Fret buzz, help me sort this please.

Ok, I've tweaked guitars before action wise so I kinda know what I'm doing, but I can't seem to sort this one.

Bought a Line 6 Variax 500 the other day and it buzzes on all the strings at the 2nd fret but nowhere else, EXCEPT, the G string buzzes quite a bit elsewhere. I've tried raising its saddle but it didn't seem to help much.

Can anyone help me? I'm getting my guitar teacher to look at it tomorrow as well (he knows what he's doing lol)

Cheers guys
Joe

Your trussrod might be too tight. Or you have a high 3rd fret. Those are my guesses. If you want to try tweaking the truss mark where it is, then loosen it, turning counter clockwise about 1/2 turn.

Counter clockwise when your facing which way? Counter clockwise with the headstock behind the trussrod (like to the left and all that you can see behind the allan key is the headstock) or the other way?

Cheers

Yes. Just as brothersnowgone said. Low e to high e.
