Fret Problems

A couple of frets between the g and b- string area have been worn out a little. *As a result, there are tiny cracks or impressions in them making it especially difficult and annoying when I bend the strings.

Is there a way I can fix this without replacing them?

Depends on how deep the grooves are, the rest of the frets would have to be leveled to the deepest point in the grooves, so if they're deep, it's better to replace them then take that much material off of them all.

Thanks Rich

The grooves are not that deep at all. It is very slight but it still gets in the way. *Is it possible to use some sort of material to kind of fill in the tiny scratches? Just wondering.

Otherwise, I might go to a guitar shop and have it checked out.

Nothing I know of to fill them in. Too bad you can't Tig weld a little extra on there, guess you could start a campfire that way
