Frets

Hi! Does anybody know why my JEM 7vwh seems to have pretty low frets? Is this normal? I thought that 6105 frets where pretty high... Maybe I am wrong... It's a brand new one so it should be 6105 frets.

6105
.096" X .047"
Narrow and tall.
A very popular choice.

That is what it says on www.warmoth.com

6105 dunlop
.09"w x .055"h

they're not so high that you think you're playing a scalloped board, then again they're not like a lespaul... glen

I had a s540 which I've got Dunlop 6105's in. They were great. I just thought that 6105 was 6105. Didn't think there would be so much difference...

I think i remember from reading somewhere that the Jem and Js models are equipped with Warmoth 6105 frets. You could email Warmoth (www.warmoth.com) and ask them. I have dealed with there tech support a lot and they are more than helpful.

Re: Frets

They are indeed Warmoth, NOT Dunlop.
