fully setting up an ibanez RG 7620.

i need to know how to set up the floyd rose lo pro edge.I live in Springhill L.A. a small town with no guitar stores. The guitar store i went in to town 40 miles away set the guitar up but i don't think the guy set it up right.he said all floyd rose bridges are suppost to be set up at a 4-40 he said that was flat to the body with no angle on the bridge.I was reading the tech support on this site and it said that it is suppost to be angle enough to where you can put a 1.5 mm pict on each corner.basically i was wondering if someone could tell me how the set up my bridge correctly to the a tuning A with 10-52gauge string with 60 for low A string. Also my locking nut keeps making the string go a little bit sharp could you help me with that.

same stuff applies, regardless of string gauge. forget what your tech said, as the baseplate on the Edge7 angles up, unlike an OFR. With the trem angle, use the pick as a rough guide but keep the trem baseplate knife edges perpindicular (horizontal) to the post. WIth that happening your trem will look like pictured in the setup area.

check the retainer bar if the string(s) are pulling sharp when locking down. the tech setup area of jemsite covers that too ...glen
