Fun Mods to Epiphone Explorer
Ok, so I have an RG550 thats totally modded to exactly what I want, and an SG for backup that is the same. I also have this Epiphone Explorer which I just put the old SG
bridge pup
in and a
DiMarzio PAF
in the neck. t has a big pick guard and if I wanted to, I have plenty of room to route wood underneath that. I'm thinking of doing some crazy mod, something somewhat useless, but somewhat handy (Think of Vai's tech, name escapes me, but he has a superstrat with a switch to turn the lights off in his room). I'm thinking of doing something like this, maybe with a TV remote being put in or something. Does anyone have any ideas?

Well I'm sure I could find whatever I needed around the house, and as for time, I practice guitar about six to eight hours a day, and go to school for six, so I need a break, a hobby, just something else to do...

Re: Fun Mods to Epiphone Explorer
you could get one of those watches that doubles as a TV remote, take it off the strap, and then fit it onto the pickguard.
take the front cover off your calculator and then put holes in the right places on the pickguard and stick it to the underside, making homework a lot more fun!
just a couple of suggestions

Re: Fun Mods to Epiphone Explorer
Mr Horsepower has to be the most posted non Ibanez guitar, as it should be.
The guitar is made of 8% wood, 2% metal and 110% Kick Ass

Thanks so much! I think that's what I'm going to do, I actually had one of those watches like...eight years ago, so I'm going to look for it and put it in the pickguard. That's an awesome idea, thanks!
