Gotoh/Edge Pro swap? trem questions..

Anyone know if the Gotoh LoPro style trem will drop into an EdgePro route as a direct replacement?
Also, I'd like to hear from those who have successfully changed out the arm socket/holder on Edge style trems with an arm socket/holder of the OFR/Schaller threaded/collared arm variety?
Pointers in doing this procedure, tips, etc?!?

99% sure it won't - I recall hearing when the EP first debuted that the trem posts fall in different positions relative to the knife edges (they're farther back on one trem than the other) so it'll screw up your intonation.

Additionally, the new EP route is pretty tight - I'd be surprised if the LoPro body fits inside.

I know a couple guys on sevenstring.org have done that swapp sucessfully, and I'm pretty sure I've seen a how to thread here as well - try doing a forum search and see what comes up.
