help fix my tele

ok...just got a new tele

when i plug it in i get VERY low bassy volume

yet whenever my hand touches something metal on the guitar sudenly im loud and my treble comes back, especially if i touch the neck pickup

whats the problem? i took the jack out, its getting a good connection, from what i can see its soldered well...

an it played fine in the store

maybe your lead is knackered? have you tried a different one?

believe it or not yes lol

its a gold studio lead with a livetime warranty on it, an its workin fine on all my other axes

this is some sort of bizzare electrical problem

maybe the amp? if not i'd go back and get it sorted from where you bought it - its the least they can do :P
