Help for my Charvel

I recently aquired a Charvel model 6. The guitar is definitely a project but when done should be a great instrument. I do however have a few questions for the ever helpful jem-siters. The trem is original and is definitely dhowing its age, which trems are acceptable replacements(stud spacing, etc...) and which would you recommend.

Also, the locking nut is quite different. The strings are locked after they pass over a regular nut. I am missing one of the pressure pads. Where can I a) find replacement pads or b) find a top mount lock-nut(like on the new rg's, i'd rather not drill through the neck)

Thank you for all your help.

If I were you I'd email, or contact Brian at Project Guitar, Jeremy at LGM, or Eddie at EKG. If you can provided detailed photos of the trem, and neck. They should be able to help you out

I did mean contact one of the three not all at the same time. Sorry just wanted to clear that up

Thanks again for the Jackson forum, they were very helpful. I solved all my problems as far as the nut and trem fit goes( the size and spacing is the same as an OFR) but I still have one major problem that I am hoping someone can answer.

I am missing the studs for the trem. The body has the original inserts installed, but the studs were not with the body and the person I got it from doesn't have them. I heard somewhere that studs from other manufacturers will not fit due to a different thread pattern. I hope someone here can point me in the direction of replacement studs that will thread into the existing anchors. Thanks for all your help.
