help me install EMG 81!!!

hey guys, I own a rg520QSTB.. And I barely bought a emg-81 WITH POTS & ETC..to replace the V8 pickup.. I *solder every wire so i can replace the emg-81.. I tried following the instructions but all the wires kept confusing me so i disconnected all the wires.. and now i need some very SPECIFIC instructions.. It is possible to replace only one pickup Right???? I need instructions on installing the pickup (v7) with the emg-81 (replacing the v with a 5 way switch.. I don't know nothing about installing pickups so TRY TO GIVE ME SOME SPECIFIC INFORMATION.. tHANKS ALOT!!!!!!!

I don't think that you can mix active and passive microphones, but i'm not an expert.

I know you can do this but each pickup will require it's own volume control because the pot values with actives and passives are different. Otherwise it hooks up the same. Call EMG, they're very helpful.

I actually had an Ibanez USA Custom (in "Silver Snake" finish) that had a PAF PRO in the bridge and (2) EMG SA single coils. *They worked fine wired together. *Both the tone and volume pots were rated at 500K-no problems. *It can be done, and it's not that difficult. *You may be able to find detailed wiring diagrams at www.emgpickups.com. *if not, give them a call-I'm sure they'll be happy to help you out.

u dont use microphones
u can cept you got to make a completly different pathway im doing something similaron mine once i scrape funds together, and beg my siblings.
if i do make it i will make a tut, because somanny pple want emgs and or active and passive combos. i hate 5 way switches for some reason, by the way.
