Help me route a recessed tremolo!

My second project guitar is just around the bend! (hopefully)

I need some advice on routing the tremolo. That is the only part I am really worried about, as I have an experienced carpenter by my side.

I appreiciate any advice, big or small.

Is it pretty much strait foward?

Oh yeah, It's gonna be an Edge Pro 7.

If you have the body plan, should be straight forward (also assuming you have the machinery).

If you don't have the plan (or have a really custom body) be careful with the location of the route, as it will obviously affect intonation if too long or short (beyond adjustability).

All I can say is it gets easier eveytime you do it, and be as prepared as possible. Other than that enjoy the experience of crafting your own guitar!
