HELP!! WHAT HAVE I DONE!!! - .....broken trem post.....


In the process of re-attaching the trem on my UV777GR I noticed a problem: The lower trem post has split!! I figured that it needs to be ordered and replaced, but how?? The post seems pretty well set in the body, do I need a pro to do it?? PLEASE HELP!!! >>>Thanks in advance

order a new set of posts. when these arrive replace the posts...

loosen the set screw
loosen/remove the post
insert each new post
adjust trem height
tighten the set screw

It's the part that the 4mm allen wrench goes into for trem height adjustment. It just blew out from stress or something...anyways thanks Glen!! Your site rules!!!
