How many springs is necessary for Lo Pro Edge Tremolo?

I'm setting up Ibanez RBM2NT. I have found that former owner of this guitar putting only 2 springs (on left and right, straight shape). Most of my Ibanez is using 3 springs. I have never experience about two. So, someone please suggest me about several questions below,
1. Is it enough to use 2 springs for lo pro edge tremolo?
2. If it's ok. What shape of spring is necessary? straight or V shape.
3. If use 2 springs, Will it affect to sustain,bending or tremolo function?
4. What is different between 2 and 3 springs?
5. What lenght of Lo Pro Edge springs ? 47 or 52 mm.

Well, I would think 2 springs would make it feel really loose. Theres alot less tension on the trem...

I KNOW that you wont be able to switch to heavier strings, as the trem will not sit correctly in the cavity.

you may just want to go back to three, and get more controll over the trem's feel.
