I don't know the torque specs but not so tight as to where they would strip out or damage the neck.

Not too tight. I'd use the allen, and just adjust until they are tight and don't give. I wouldn't overdo it.

Now seriously, just tight them up with the allen wrench. Not too tight, just enough, as stated above: finger tight.

The same goes to the phillips screws holding the machine heads.

You'll know when they're not tight enough because the nut will slip and cause the strings to go out of tune when you use the trem.

If that doesn't happen, then you've got it right.

thanks I hear some strange buzz and I'm checking everything, but that's not it. Anyway, I'm having my axe pro setup on monday, so it shouldn't be a problem after that,
