How to strip a Guitar Body......... - Part one is up.......

I am in no way close to being*finished with the tutorial. But you can see it in Here for those weekend warriors that want to start soon on those project bodys.......

I have alot of pictures to add to it as well this weekend as I am polishing one body and stripping two others and will cover everything except the chemical method for now.

Hopefully I will have the Heat gun and Cavity section done before Sunday afternoon.....Maybe even by Saturday night =o)

I started with the old manuel method first since most of you have the supplies to do it with......A lot more pictures comming soon.....

How to strip a Guitar Body.........

Whew. Been there and done that once. I am never stripping again! (unless you guys get me drunk at jemfest).

After doing it once, I realized a few hundreds dollars for a custom body is a pretty good deal.

Pictures are up on the sanding method but I just realized I need to do more to it since it still needs the visual of inside the curve of the horn area........

Stay tuned =o)

I'm almost finished sanding the body on my 550. All thats left is the inside of the horns. What a pain in the ass, I will never do this again.
