I've done a X2N their before , had lots of overdrive....

Instead of an HFH what about a motherbucker ?

"CERAMIC / D.C. =27.5K- A special design dual blade pickup that actually contains four coils in one humbucker! Wired to full capacity, this pickup is one of the loudest humbuckers available today, but itīs real strength lies in its incredible variety of wiring configurations. WDīs most versatile pickup to date."

Interestingly, the Humbucker from Hell is one of the lowest output humbuckers that Dimarzio makes (despite what the name implies). I think it got that name because it's very bright (even in the neck). I'm sure people have put 'em in the bridge position before, but the brightness might spank ya into next week!

Agreed. *They could pass for a bridge HB when you have them in the neck, I'd imagine it's going to be total treble if you put it in the bridge.

An excerpt from the DiMarzio site...
"Okay, we admit it - it's a strange name for a pickup that's not a megavoltage monster (but try it in the bridge position with a really bright amp & you'll get it)."

If you RG has pickguard-mounted pickups, it's relatively easy to try out if you just want to see.
