Humming on my JEM7DBK

hi all,
Well i had this Humming problem when i bought My 2000 Jem 7DBK from the start but it wasnt that bad and i thought maybe its one of my jacks or my home studio equipment placement.
I moved to another appt like 6 month ago and recently the humming on the JEM got louder and louder.
I tried my Ibanez Prestige with the same amp setup and wires and there is no humming.
The hum is on all pickup positions, some positions are louder than the other but the humming still there. Also i noticed when i hold the guitar in the upright position the humming goes away. Also if i turn to a specific corner in the house the humming disappear.
Did anyone encounter this problem? Jus thought about checking with you guys before i put it under the knife.

Regards

Hi, I got a dbk too, and mine is humming too. I was checking all solderings and stuff and couldn't find a solution... but funny that it'S the dbk, for it's the coolest JEM

Yes indeed its the coolest of all Jems not to mention her neck and tonal versatility. awesome axe...

still problem not solved. But what i think is a faulty volume knob, tone knob or the pickup selector. Im taking it to a pro technician to look at. Altho i took out my pickgard and checked all the wires but find nothing. Anyway i'll keep you posted on what happens at the technician.

Re: Humming on my JEM7DBK

I currently have this problem with my guitar, not a JEM though. it mysteriously started humming while i was playing. i have no idea what caused it. hum is loudest at the in between positions of the selector switch.
