Aside from the blue steel issue, tell me something Azian...
Is there a need to filldle with something once it's been fixed? I seem to recall a problem you had with this guitar when you first got it and it got so severe that you had to take it to a tech to fix it. If the tech fixed it and it was playing fine, why oh why did you have to go and change the string brand and gauge of strings the guitar had when it was fixed?
Since you said it would be fine to flame you, well, I guess you deserve what you get. Learn how to play that guitar and stop tinkiering with it until you can get that chibanez properly setup. Then, you can adjust things in your Jem.

I can't wait to see the posts about issues with the Fernandes Sustainer. I better buy some extra popcorn and get a good seat for that show.
AmazinAzian12, you need to stop buying gear and get a handle on what you have. All you're doing is buying more problems with don't know how to deal with yet.

Re: I am so mad at my Jem!!!!
ok, after you get the
neck relief
dialed in and you do your gig...
TAKE YOUR GUITAR TO A DAMN GUITAR TECH!
you're not stupid or young or anything but fool around with a different/cheaper guitar and have your Jem playable

Thank f*ck you don't have to deal with my only guitar, an ancient RG750 with unmovable cracked
trem studs
, no electronics or pickups, major fret wear and no paint job. That would turn you int the Incredible Hulk, I guarantee it.

Ahh....yes, it's always so easy to blame the instrument, isn't it??? I do it all the time
Azian, if I were you, I'd ask your dad if you can take it to a tech and have him string it and set it up!! Because at this point I really don't think you should be attempting to adjust it yourself
And you will remember to say HI to "Hil" for me please, wont you??
