Re: I am so mad at my Jem!!!!
So the
fret board
has minimal to no fret buzz anymore. i gave the neck some relief.
But now onto the trem angle. Is there anything that helps the trem return to neutral?
Ps. ignoring past comments. Could care less about the incredible hulk and
fernandes sustainer
comments.
Just please help me on this

Yep! A proper set up. Any time you change string brands and/or gauges this needs to be done
You REALLY shouldn't be attempting this on your BRMR!
Take it in

Azian -- the strings are fully stretched, right?
Earlier on I asked how far out the return to pitch is. How bad is it, like way out or just a tiny bit? Try Rich's recommendation of Chapstick. It works pretty good for minor return problems, but if it's way out of tune Chapstick might not help much.

Re: I am so mad at my Jem!!!!
Wow, such hate for Blue Steels, - I have been using them for years - I personally think they are good strings I use to use daddario & slinkys a lot, but they seemed to break more often form me than the Blue Steels. If it not a tension change from strings usually used and the neck needs to settle. It might be 1 bad string, which I had something like this happen with Fender bullets, the guitar would not stay in tune after multi setups. After being frustrated with what was happening, and playing the strings hard and pulling the bar, I finally had the A string break around the 13 fret... replace the A string, and readjusted and everything was fine.

Funny, most of the tech threads I've read always had Rich chiming in. I wonder why he didn't touch this one?

Re: I am so mad at my Jem!!!!
I don't know about you lot but I'm kind of sick of this. How many hundreds of posts are on this forum about buzzing strings etc. How many hundreds of websites are out there which you can search for and find help on.
Also, how many times has this guy complained about his JEM. I'm not being nasty or anything but for goodness sake the answer is very clear and has been stated ad nauseum - GO TO A TECHNICIAN AND GET YOUR GUITAR SET UP.
Now I'm off to bang my head repeatedly against a brick wall!

Y'know, I was feeling charitable last night but I'm not this morning, not so much.
AmazinAzian12, all the information you need to solve your problems is out there on the Net and it's easy to find. Find read it, read it again then read it again. If you don't understand it then bring your guitar to the store with a qualified tech and have them work on it.
Every time you have a problem it's a multi page thread because:
1) Some people try to help.
2) Some people are getting tired of you "screaming" bloody murder every time you have a problem with your guitar.
One week you can't stop proclaiming how much you love your Jem and the next week you're so mad at it you're ready to "throw it in the mulcher". The Jem isn't the problem, YOU ARE!
