It doesn't matter how much you spend on a guitar, it's not going to set itself up.

No, just spin the
bridge height adjustment
screws around 180 degrees with your 4mm allen key, then take a small amount of chapstick (I put a blob on a toothpick) and work it into the groove where the trem's knife edges sit. Spin the posts around back to their original position and that should do it. It might work (it did for me) and it's definitely worth a try. Good luck!
Once you get this guitar sorted out, try to stick to the same brand and gauge of strings, then you should rarely have to mess with your JEM again apart from keeping it clean and keeping the fretboard oiled. For that, I recommend Fret Doctor. Grab yourself a bottle sometime.

Indeed, a bad workman always blames his tools.

I'd want that mofo to play the guitar parts to the entire MoonBabies album by Planet X and print out tabs for that price.

+1 on that. Trems are cool. I like the things other people do with them but that coolness comes at a price. I'm done with trems. Simple works all the time, every time.

Hmmm, my guess is that the new strings didn't get stretched properly when they were installed, before the nut got locked.

Re: I am so mad at my Jem!!!!
Okay, I've had enough
This thread was started for one purpose and that was to seek attention
(AGAIN)
Azian, there are plenty of links and advice given here. And in prior threads a LOT of good advice was given as well. I will state my advice ONE LAST TIME!
You are a 15 year old kid with ZERO experience in setting up guitars. You DO NOT want to go experimenting on a very expensive high end
signature guitar
. You'll probably just screw it up worse and have to go to a tech ANYWAYS
Since you seem to feel the need to do your own set up and your dad is well off enough to buy you a brand new BRMR, then surely you could talk him into buying you a used cheap (insert guitar) with a Floyd. Practice on that and take your friggen BRMR to a TECH!
Nuff said
