i think my wah needs cleaning...

i've had my vox wah v847 (without the AC adaptor) for like...3 years now. insanely amazing pedal, my favourite pedal i've ever tried, completely awesome.

i hadn't used it for a while until recently and i found that when i turn it on, i get really loud buzzings and i pickup radio stations really easily. when it gets turned off, if you rock it for a few seconds after the unwanted noises still filter through the amp a bit.

the pedal is beaten to **** and gets thrown around, i'll take it apart and see what i can do, but any suggestions?

its not about dirty pot or such thing like that some of your feedback resistors of your wah pedal's taransistors broken or bad contack..you should check the layout.maybe you could see something wrong..and it may be also grounding problem inside of the wah too..
