I this makes me look like such a noob, but how is a swirl made?

could someone just run over it simply for me, cuz i see so many people posting their swirls, and im very interested to learn how they are made...

paint, floated on the surface of water has the prepared body passed through it, the paint is then moved out of the way before the guitar is pulled out of the water !!!
et voila - a swirl is created !
