I want to scrape off the "Jr" on my 555Bk headstoc


What should I use?

i would think its just a decal and a heat gun ala what they use to pull off pinstriping on cars would work, but i could be wrong since i'm not familiar with what the logo is made of etc...

DO NOT USE A HEAT GUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The logos on the onlder style Jems (555 included) were silkscreened on the headstock, on top of the clear coat. The wasiest way to remove any part of the logo, is to tape off the part you are going to keep. Use a small amount of nail polish remover to remove the logo. That's the easiest way I know of.

Perfectly. A few shots ought to quell whatever embarrassment walking into a drug store to buy nail polish remover with ease. Good thinking there.
