Ibanez Edge Pro 7 w/Piezo mod is possible!!!

Hey Guys,

I got quite a buzz going around over at the sevenstring.org forum abou this.

Check it out!!! I have done this retro-fit on my RG-1527 guitar. And I can do it to any Ibanez 6 or 7 stringed guitar that has the more recent Edge Pro trem with the little saddle chip insert thingys.

feel free to PM me or email me.

here is the link to the thread I started.

I currently cannot post links here. But go to sevenstring . org at the search bar type: shotgunn Look for the thread of the same title as this one you are reading right now.

I have a couple vid's you'll there as well. Page 5 or 6 I think.

They're prett excited over there @ SS.org

Enjoy,

shotgunn

Wow that is really cool, I am thinking about buying a 7620 and if I had the money I would probably get that put in, my dream guitar is a UV style guitar with Piezo. So maybe over time I can slowly work my way into making the 7620 I want to buy into a UV then call you up for some Piezo action.

I will post the link for you since you can't

Re: Ibanez Edge Pro 7 w/Piezo mod is possible!!!

Thanx for posting the link!!! Actually the bridge on the 7620's is not directly compatible. I have plans on trying to make something happen with it, but as of right now it is only gonna happen with the newer style bridges. They are called the 'Edge Pro', I think...

I will try and get my hands on a spare 7620 bridge to see if I can neatly 'hack' it up to accept the piezo inserts. I have great interest in this as well, as my other 3 guitars are all 7620's!!!

Definitely stay in touch man, I'd be more than happy to help you out.
