Ibanez Lo-Pro refit ? D-Tuna, Big Block

Does anyone know if an EVH D-Tuna work on an Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge Trem?

Also, will a Floyd Rose "Big Block" fit onto a Lo-Pro Edge or on a Regular Edge?

Thanks!

You will not fit an EVH D-Tuna on a Lo-Pro Edge trem. The D-Tunas only work on standard profile Floyd Rose style trems. Fits on the Edge, I have one on a guitar myself.

Not too sure about the Floyd Rose big block, I'd be guessing no. Perhaps you can try and find one of the blocks off the Older Edges which are bigger. I have one on the guitar I have my D-Tuna on.

also, IIRC the D-Tuna doesn't work on full floating trems. it would work on those that dive only, à la EVH. if your trem also goes upward (pull) the D-Tuna would mess the overall tuning when you switch your E string to D and viceversa.

That's why you pick up a Tremol-no, or a Trem-setter which I've heard from some works as well. . That way if you have a full floating trem you can lock it to dive only with the Tremol-no, or tighten a trem setter so the trem doesn't move from the change in tension on the low E string.
