Ibanez, RG350DX, Edge III Bridge Angle

I own an Ibanez, RG350DX. It has an Edge III bridge, and I don't know what is the correct angle for this bridge. This is how it looks now:

I don't know whether it's right or wrong.

My mother tongue is Hebrew, and the combination of English and guitars just doesn't work for me. No one has ever taught me the names of the parts in English, so I know nothing. Some guy told me that the knife edge should be perpendicular to the stud, but I have no idea what are the knife edge and the stud. That guy also said once that Edge III bridges has a lack exposed knife edge, so that probably makes it harder for me to understand what exactly are those parts. If you guys can please try to explain it for me with pictures, then I'll be thankful. No one has ever taught me the names of the parts in English, but I really need the help.

Technetium,
The easiest way to think of this is that the spring tension = string tension. The best way to center your trem at the right angle IMO is to use a good tuner.
Leave the back plate off and tune your strings top to bottom. If you notice your strings continue to go flat regardless of your tuning efforts, tighten the springs slightly. If they're sharp, looseten the springs a bit. Retune and keep doing the steps above until your strings stay in tune- then you will have the right angle.
Even the much maligned Edge 3 will stay in tune CONSISTENTLY with this method.
Good luck!

What do you mean, "tune your strings top to bottom"?

Sorry, low E to high E; the top of the neck to the bottom.

Are you sure that this is the right way to get the correct angle? I'm pretty sure that the angle is supposed to be "dictated", like, there is one angle which is right, and which is the most healthy for the guitar and the bridge. No?

The knife edge needs to be parallel with the body.

I have already read that page. Did you not read my messeage, like, at all? lol. I have no idea what is the knife edge, and from what I understood it's even harder to see it on the Edge III bridge.

True, but IMO "eyeballing" it only gets you close. You need a more precise instrument to get you closer, like a fairly good tuner. It's much more accurate than your eyes.

it is what touches the anchor studs for your bridge.

A guitar being in tune doesn't mean the bridge is level. It can be in tune with the bridge sticking a mile up in the air. You tune first, then check the knife edge, compensate with the springs and tune again until it is dead level.

And yes, the knife edge is the little square block that is visible from the side of the baseplate. Rich's guide explains that.
