I'm done painting my guitar...

I posted a while back about bringing back an old RG340 that was broken. I was out to make a beater guitar out of it, something that would be a back up to my back up. I decided it would be fun to take a stab at refinishing it, so I went the cheap route when painting(aka: The Home Depot Special).

These are some pics of it in my garage after sanding off most of the red, and laying down a couple coats of primer:






I don't have any other pics until I was done, but this is how it turned out:
(I said it was a beater, hence the rusty-ass hardware. The EMG 85 is new, though)






I've already managed to chip the paint all over the place while putting it back together, but whatever...

Erm...I'm no expert, but that doesn't look like an RG.

Doesn't look like an RG to me either, however I don't pay much attention to the lower models, and I don't remember what they looked like years ago, cause I only used Jems at the time.

Looks pretty decent... I can't tell if he is done yet or not? maybe its just me... I doubt I could do as well... thats why I don't even try.

Its an older RG340. I think like an 89 or 90. Its definitely low end.

Let me paint it, I'm color blind! Well ppl pay big money for stuff 'painted' by an elephant, my stuff should be worth millions!
