Indo S570 Review and Mods

The neck is in good, clean,'as' new condition.

Purchased off ebay,ex Indonesia,so i think we know who we are talking about here.

Wrapped in 3m Dinoc 1080 Carbon Fibre with a Fluro Orange IB JM sticker.

Below is a list of the imperfections, generally not associated with a new product.Wether it was Transit Damge,i am unsure, but generally i would say this is a 'Factory Spoiled' fail.

Scuff/Dint marks apprix 75mm long and 3mm wide along, approx 7 or 8 of them, scratches etched.Into finished and slightly into wood.

Top of the Fretboard,slight scuff.Noticable.

Few semi-deep scratches/scuffs also back of neck.

Slight chip on 3rd Peghole on back.Un-noticable,will be covered by Tuner.

Resin stain on side of neck at top.

Noticable 'dark' dirt-like staining around back of neck. Will require light scuffing/ sanding to remove.Maybe.

Other than that:

PERFECT Rosewood Grain, very happy with the selection.Looks great.Quite dark, but oiled it will look even better.

PERFECT new frets,straight as,beautifully polished,angled and finish.Level check at 9/9.5 out of 10.Fat as a 6105.

Nice grain on the back, well presented.Scratches and nicks withstanding.

Overall 'happy' with purchase, except a litle disapointed that the back of the neck isnt perfect. The nicks and scratches are noticable. So i cannot class this as being 'new'..

The dirt-like staining is also an issue.

I am happy with the purchase, extremely happy with the neck, save for the imperfections.

Bang for buck,GR8 value and GENUINE all the way.

Thanks.
