input jack problem.

I have an 2003 Uv777bk, and the input jack is making noise, with any cable, someone told me that unis and jems that have the angled jack have problems. Have you experienced this? with the uv is hard to play and move on stage without getting noise or even the no sound from the guitar. ive changed the input jack with a new one but i have the same problem. What can i do?

I don't know what'll work, but one thing I have done that helped me with a strat was to pull out the jack and pinch the two prongs that grip the cable a little closer together to hold it tighter. You might want to just check your cable though with a different guitar, those go pretty quick too.
