Installing a coil tap - where to solder the wires

Alright, I've got a coil tap that I want to install in my Washburn.

It has H/H pickup configuration and it's wired to the pickup selector instead of the pots.

The Bridge pickup is washburn stock it's got one white wire and a ground wire. The Dimarzio PAF in the neck has black white and ground. The middle wire is grey which is wired to the volume pot.

The Coil Tap is typical 3 way switch with 3 connectors 4 wired as a pair, and 2 left vacant.

It looks a bit like this:

1)º *6)º
2)º *5)º
3)º *4)º

1 and 4 connected by a wire, 6 and 3 connected by a wire, 5 has a single wire soldered to it and 2 has nothing connected to it.

How would I connect it?

Installing a coil tap

I think you're out of luck with the Washburn pickup. Without a 4-conductor wire coming off the pickup, you don't have the ability to split or tap the coils.

Wiring diagrams for a DiMarzio humbucker can be found here.
