Installing a TOM Bridge

Hi i am in need of a little help and im sure some of you guys will be able to help!!
Right i have a archtop guitar which had a floyd on it but i didnt want that so i filled the cavity's and have smoothed it over.. all looks good but now i want to install a Tune o matic bridge but for the life of me i cannot find any measurements or placement charts for any help so i was wondering in any of you would be able to tell/help me with measurements and the like???

An arch top with a Floyd??? A real arch top? Or do you mean a solidbody with a carved top?

The bridge position is determined by the scale length. Measure the distance from the nut to the 12th fret and double it. That's the basic position, plus a little for compensation. You might find this link helpful:

Note that the TOM will also sit a lot higher than the Floyd unless you recess it. That means you will need to do something about the neck angle to make it have reasonable action.
