is it normal ?


Hello everybody, firs of all sorry for my "broken english", i don't now is it normal or not, i have JEM7 VWH , but i have some problems with my floyd, then i go down with my tremolo arm , guitar comes back in tune well, but if i try go up with arm, then guitar doesn't go back in tune,some notes are just higher then it has to be, but if i go up then down guitar goes back in tune, can anybody help me ?

A few things to check, make sure the nut is bolted tightly to the neck, check that the stud locking screws are tight(if you have a pre 2004 model with locking studs). Go to ibanezrules.com and read about the studs as you may have some bad or worn studs. A drastic solution would be to install a tremsetter from hipshot or ESP. Try lubing the studs and knife edges with chapstick. Inspect the knife edges for wear the next time you have all the strings off.

Also did you strech your strings properly when you put a new set on?

And how is the trem level (is it parallel to the body, or is it leaning forward or backward)

nut is bolted tightly to the neck, I will check the stud locking screws, I realy do not now, whick year my guitar was made,(this is my first floyd) I can write serial numbers may it help : F0621346, guitar made by Team J. Craft in Japan, and Compiliant with RoHS Directive N427. I will strech strings again, trem level is ok it parallel to the body. I have installed tremol-no , but I want to play without it
