Is the Ibanez output jack wired different than switchcraft?
I have read that Ibanez Jacks have a different Configuration than Switchcraft Jacks,
On Ibanez Jacks, The Longest lug is the Main Ground
The Middle length is the Hot Input to the Jack
the smallest length is either an Extra Ground or the Battery turn on and off, This one only is touching ground when there is a Jack plugged in that is how it shuts off the battery.
The SwitchCraft jack, the long lug is the Main Ground,
The second longest is the Battery Ground
The shortest is the Hot,
Can anyone confirm this is true? I've got a switchcraft jack and didn't know it would be different.
