is this possible?

would it be possible to attach an rg2550z neck (edge zero, 43mm nut without string retainer bar) to an edge/lo pro routed body?

as far as i can see, the only issue would be making sure the bridge lines up with the nut?

You've got to remember that the Prestige Wizard necks are slightly wider than the earlier Wizards. you would most probably have a little minor woodwork to do to get it to fit.

58mm at the 24th fret, which used to be 56mm.

Re: is this possible?

provided you managed to fit the 58mm neck to a body, what would happen if you attached an edge or a lo pro to the body? how would that work with string spacings?

Hmmmm,

As long as your nut is correct on the neck I don't think it is an issue. They do sell different width nuts but they work with the same trems. I think it would be fine. I am pretty sure that I have used different floyd types on different neck widths.

Re: is this possible?

String spacing hasn't changed with the advent of the 58mm neck.

It's determined by trem spacing, which -IIRC- is similar on LoPro v EdgePro but is slightly different on EdgeZero, but not enough to make any difference.
