issue with my volume knob...

I've got a serious problem and so far it is only happening on one of my guitars...but my favourite one which makes this very serious.

The volume knob (and tone knob, although its lower so its doesnt matter as much) on my RGA321F is kind of loose for some reason. What I mean by loose is that it turns too easily.

Whenever I'm shredding, my pinky finger has a tendency to knock it slightly, pushing it incrimentally into the off position. Eventually it begins to affect the sound coming out of my amp (obviously).

I've removed it, looked around and can't figure out how to adjust this.

Can anyone help me out with some simple advice?

Loosen the set screw, let the knob drop until it contacts the top, and tighten it. Now it'll scratch the top when you turn it. That should teach it!

Outside of replacing with new [which will wear in the same], you might be able to pinch the threaded shaft just a hair and see if it'll bind on the pot shaft a touch
