jem bodies

Does anyone know the best place in the UK to get a jem body? I already have a neck, and am still trying to decide on hardware and pickups. I am on a mission to prove that the average person can build a Jem with the help of his fellow jemsiters, and am racing someone who thinks I will receive more hinderance than help. Help me to prove this Strat palying heathen wrong!

Well then...........

Thanks to Eddie Kolesar and littlegreenman for their replies. I guessed that it would be difficult to find anything over here. I'm hoping you might be able to help me when it comes to choosing pickups if and when I get this body sorted out!

Try getting in contact with "ripl3y".
He is a UK member that build himself a jem from scratch.

Check the tutorials here.
He might be able to give you a few extra pointers, but the tutorial is very extensive and seems like enough info to build a body.

Armed with this and the blueprint for a jem, any luthier can make you a jem body in case you want to go that way.

Eddie, any chance you can post some photo's of Jem bodies that you do/have done? With close-ups of details like rear of the monkey grip, trem rout etc?
Thanks!
