Just glued my Ash Body blanks togehter...might be a problem?

Hi guys. Ive just got some Nice ash for my RG project im doing and ive got a question.

The two pieces were machined at the shop, all cut and plain to size, ready for the two blanks to be glued.

I got home, realised that the way the grain matched nicely meant that there were hairline spaces between the blanks where they joined up, i also shone a torch down the seem and found some places gave out very small bits of light, meaning some areas didnt touch. I managed to line the wood up so that it seems to fit OK, and i put a load of glue in hoping to fill any possible space. The glue says "Stronger than wood itsels" lol, so im hoping that once it dries it will be strong and sturdy.

Will this be the case? I realise that for a guiar body you want to get the most tight joining fit on the seam as possible, dont get me wrong, the bits fit together , just on some areas its not perfect, but i wasnt sure whether it was ever going to be perfect, hence i went ahead and glued.

Im hoping the seam wont be too obvious, even though its not matching grain.

If the edges were properly planed with a jointer, you shouldn't have been seeing gaps at all.

Good glue and strong clamping should hopefully eliminate (or at least minimize) any voids you might have in the joint.
