kahler hybrid on rg 321 mh

hey guys am thinking of installing a kahler hybrid 7300 trem on a rg 321mh
but i want the floyd rose style licking nuts on the top of the neck cause i have heard really bad things about the kahler string lock nut.
so can i install a floyd rose style locking nut on the neck without damaging it ?
any info would be great

yep you can do it, you'll probably need to build a nut shelf. The kahler route is a much more simple route and the floyd nut is IMO the better way to go.

It can be done, but it is a precision job. My bud was charged 30 bucks to do it to his carvin a few years back. I wouldn't do it myself.

The best bet for the nut would be to get an Ibanez locking nut since they're already made to handle the dimensions of the RG neck.

i know a luthier who can do this for me and tat ibanez nut is a really good suggestion.
so getting an ibanez nut there would require drilling can drilling affect the neck in anyway
i ve heard wizardII necks to be pretty weak in tat area and cracks nears the lucking nut are common .. is this true ?
