Lo-Pro and Original Edge

If I buy a body that was routed for a Lo-Pro, can I put an Original Edge in it? The dimensions are basically the same, and I won't have to do any additional routing, correct?

Thanks.

Re: Lo-Pro and Original Edge

It should fit fine, but you may bottom out when pulling up (in which case you would need a deeper route in the back).

Re: Lo-Pro and Original Edge

Original edge to lopro is a drop in replacement. lopro to original will require a little routing as the recess is slightly longer for the original edge due to the long allen screws sticking out. I have both style bodies in front of me and measure about 3/16" difference.

Re: Lo-Pro and Original Edge

ive never seen them require routing their location in the routes are slightly different. having done this myself it only limits full pullup range.

Re: Lo-Pro and Original Edge

Albee is correct - guitars routed for Lo-pro will not be routed enough to allow for the sticking bolts at the back.
Check the side by side photos for reference - clearly visible on the UV routed for Edge7 with a lo-pro7 in it there's a lot more room at the back.
